Federación Anarquista Uruguaya - Uruguayan Anarchist Federation

The Federación Anarquista Uruguaya (F.A.U.) is a traditional and old anarchist group. Unlike the P.V.P., the F.A.U. is an all anarchist group. For example in their website they speak about anarchist theorists like Bakunin.

In the website of the Federación Anarquista Uruguaya (F.A.U.) there was a small animated GIF with an anarchist flag. The flag was black over red, with the group acronym (F.A.U.). The letters are red over black inverting the flag.

In the present design of the F.A.U. website there is one horizontal bicolor black and red flag with white letters. However going inside the page, some "flag-buttons" GIFs appear. They are horizontal bicolor red and black (inverting the colors described earlier) with letters half black, half red.

Red over black anarchist motive, in a long ratio of approx. 2:5, with large white "P.V.P" (no end dot!) over all, in a particular font.

The Partido por la Victoria del Pueblo (Party for the Victory of the People) was anarchist in its origins. However, it has adopted Marxist ideas later. The P.V.P. is inside the Frente Amplio.

Organización Libertaria Cimarrón - Cimarron Libertarian Organization

The Organización Libertaria Cimarrón (O.L.C.) is an Uruguayan anarchist group that takes its name (Cimarrón) from the word used in the times of the Spanish colonial Viceroyalties in the Americas to refer to a slave that had escaped from his captivity.

This group appeared in the 1990s and has made graffiti in the City of Montevideo.

The flag of this group appears in their webpage. It design follows the one sometimes used by anarcho-sindicalists flags.
